Ironbark Ridge Public School continues to grow from strength to strength since its opening in 2005. The school's motto: "Strength, Respect, Excellence" encapsulates the values that underpin the culture of the school. As well as a rigorous curriculum underpinned by the Quality Teaching framework, the school offers a broad range of extra curricula activities. This includes an instrumental music program, a wide range of sport, debating and public speaking, numerous dance groups, choirs, chess, verse speaking and Tournament of Minds. An Opportunity Class of Year 5 students is accepted each year through the High Performing Students Unit of the DoE. The school also has excellent transition programs for both pre-school to Kindergarten and Year 6 to Year 7. The school community provides strong and active support for the school's initiatives and is a true partnership.
